Korea Trip Memories

After went through my photo albums, I found that there is an album, makes me recall some sweet memories. That's my Korea Trip photo album which was held in 8th - 13th November, 2006. That would consider my 1st oversea trip (must be exactly over the sea). Why I say so.. it is because I have been went to Hatyai & Singapore before which is just a border of Malaysia, so I don't assume that is really my oversea trip.

After departed from KLIA (midnight of 8th Nov) to Korea Incheon Airport (around 6.00am 9th Nov), we wait for our tour bus and began our Korea 6D 4N Trip.

Day 1 : 9th Nov, 2006

The First place we visited was a DaeJangGuem shooting place.

It was a Autumn Season whereby the leaves is full of Red, Yellow and Orange colors.

Taking photo with the main actress of DaeJangGuem, but is just a graphic board.

Its time for lunch time, that was a steamboat with the sausages, carbages, mushrooms and last but not least for the korean famous kimuchi.

After the lunch, we continued our trip to Nami Island. We have to buy the tickets for riding a boat to across the island.

This Nami Island is a shooting place for Winter Sonata when the main actor kiss the main actress.

For those who have watched "Winter Sonata" might saw the behind scene before.

The following programme was went to their market street. The street is just for the pedestrian only.

We still walking along the street. This place is Chuncheon Junggang Mall. There were alot of variety shoplots just like our Bintang Walk in M'sia.

It's quite tired walking for the whole day. Mm... night time already. Its time for dinner.

Actually the Korean food is quite tasty. This time, we eat barbeque with the chickens and carbages.

Day 2 : 10th Nov, 2006

Our breakfast for the 2nd day is an American Style breakfast.

All my colleagues eating so happily. Oh ya.. forgot to tell you all this is my company trip. Of course have to pay one but company was subsidize abit.

I've taken this photo with my lovely colleagues at just in front of the hotel. Later, we will go to the mountain behind the photo.

This is our korean tour leader, (sorry I forgot the name), she is introducing the history of Mt. Sorak.

We are taking the cable car to Mount Sorak.

Did u see the rocks were arranged nicely behind? Heard from the old one, they said, if you bring the rock from the bottom of the mountain and put it here, it will bring you lucks.

Its almost peak of the mountain.

Next programme, we went to a temple just near to Mt. Sorak. Heard from the Korean said, all the temple is up to the hill just like Shaolin.

Nami amitabha

Lunch Time. Steamboat again!

Another drama shooting place, I can't remember the drama name. Sound like "Autumn..."

Walk around at Fish Market. You can try a shashimi at here.

It's time for dinner. Steamboat again!

Day 3 : 11th Nov, 2006

Breakfast for today is noodle soup.

Here's the model of the hotel that we stay in 3rd day. It is a Skiing Resort Hotel.

This is a Korea famous ThemePark - "Everland". We spend about 4 hours at here.

This is our lunch pack in Everland. Is a fast food in one of the stall inside. Burger + wedges + coke.

There have a safari inside a theme park as well.

Bye bye, Everland.

After Everland, we continued our journey to Seoul City, its takes about 2 hours from Everland. And now we are arrived at Myung Dong, another city nearby Seoul.

Visiting their shopping life in city.

Tonight's dinner is a Ginseng Chicken & sake (korean wine). This is the most expensive dinner for the trip. Can you see that? I finished the soup of Ginseng until empty bowl.

After the dinner, our group is divided into 2 groups, one go for the culture show "LuanDa"(have to pay about RM150 for the show) and others go for night market. I have chose the night market one because it is free and somemore can buy souvenir for friends here.

Day 4 : 12th Nov, 2006

Our breakfast for 4th day is a buffer style. I just take that much only. No 2nd round. Do you believe it?

We went to the tourist hall on how to make a kimchi. Here is my handmade kimchi. It can be last long for few years.

After finish making the kimchi, we went to next door and dress their korean old age attire. I'm wearing a civil officer clothing.

After this we proceed to visit their famous Ginseng Gallery. It is control by their Korean government and you can actually buy a original ginseng products here.

Then we proceed to Gem's manufacturing visit. Korea is famous of producing Amethyst. I did not takes any photo inside but I have take photo with this two tour assistants outside the gem factory.

This is the lunch which I think is the most delicious for the whole trip. It is a barbeque sytle with a mix rice. I'm very miss this kind of dishes. Wonder when I go Korea again.

Group photo for the trip at Korean National Museum. This museum located in the centre of Seoul City.

The bauquet in the palace of Korea.

After visiting all the Korea culture museum & palace. Its time for shopping again, I have not bought any stuff for myself so far. I was managed to buy a cloth & pants at here.

After shopping, we went for our dinner. Its a barbeque with the meat of chicken.

Day 5 : 13th Nov, 2006

The breakfast for the 5th day is also a buffer which is same as per 4th day. I'm not sure.. but I think is same.

After the breakfast.. is free and easy time, the tour bus fetch us to the town city to have a walk. This photo was taken in the main entrance of one of the Korean University. The cloth and the pant was bought on last night the the Doota shopping complex.

We were heading to the airport now. We took a seagull ferry to across the island. There are alot of seagulls flying waiting for us to feed them.

Although is steamboat again, but I really miss the korean food very much. This is my last lunch for the trip.

While in the airport, I still got a chance to take a photo with this pretty korean tour assistant. Her name is Park Hae-Jing. I still remember the name.. haha

Its time to fly back to Malaysia. I'll miss Korea.

First Test of DMII

I have taken a DMII course started from this year month of February. The Diploma of The Malaysian Insurance Institute (DMII) is designed for individuals who intend to develop and succeed as professionals in the insurance field. Of course, this is just a beginner stage of my study. I will continue my study until AMII level which is higher qualifications and being recognised by the nationwide of insurance industry.

In DMII, there have 6 subjects need to be taken and if you have related subject in your college or university syllabus, you can actually apply for the exemption. Unfortunately, I did not get any exemption paper, therefore I need to takes all the DMII papers.

The first subject is "Insurance Practice and Regulation." This should be quite easy for me because it is actually my daily job routine. The only different is I'm applying in practical and not theoretical. OMG.. I have not study for many years and I have a fear of reading books.

Today, 25th March - is my first test on this subject. To tell you the truth, I have just study less than 3 hours and sit for the test. This test contains of 10 marks in my course work.

This is what I saw while reading the notes (BLUR)

The style I studying.

Headache!!! Long time no study and my brain was stuck.

Finally the first test is finish. I don't think can get higher mark since that few question don't know how to answer. The result will know by next week. Hope that it would not so bad.

Jungle Trekking at Bukit Melawati

23 March, 2008 - 6.45am, I was being waken up by my friend, Ah Hing to go for jungle trekking. At first, I thought he is saying 6.30pm but through his sms message into my hp is actually AM. I have no choice but to join him for this journey. Secondly, I thought is a very easy and short distance of mount walking but I was wrong again. This is a very tough and long distance of jungle trekking.

I have never tried such a tough trekking in my life, but this word will be ignored after I go for the Mount KK this July, 2008. We went to Bukit Melawati so called Bukit Dapur and I really have a great experience for this. It would be my very good practice area before I go for my Mount KK climbing expedition.

Besides a tough jungle trekking, it was a beautiful scenery at here. Photo taken at 7.15am.

My friend, Ah Hing who was wake me up when I'm still having a sweet dream.

I know you all fast. Wait me lar....

The hills is up and down. There have few routes have a steep sloping area. Just like a X Climbing of 90 degrees.

This is an interesting jungle trekking. We successfully finish the journey in 2 hours and 20 minutes. This is for the first time only.. Average time of finishing is actually 2hour. My target for the 2nd time is less that 2 hours. Who are interested to join me for the 2nd time, please let me know and I'll count you in.

Driving F1 Mercedes Benz Car

Yesterday, 22nd March. Me and my group of friends went to Mid Valley to watch movie (Ah Long Pte Ltd - best recommend, guarantee you will laugh), later dinner and playing snooker. Before we go for the movie, we are hanging around to see any events or not. Ohh.. my favourite watch - Tag Heuer opening booth in Centre Court, Mid Valley.

They are not only displaying the watches but also provide F1 simulator games for the public. Of course I'm taking this opportunity to drive my favourite F1 car as well.

Annual Dinner Photos

I was graduated at year 2002, jobless for more than 6 months. Then my first job is worked as Data Entry (temporarily job) from May 2002 until Sept 2003. Later on, since I was not able to find a permanent job, my parent forcing me to go back hometown, Ipoh to work with them. I've been in Ipoh worked as Driver for half a year. I couldn't take it this kind of life, I'm boring staying in Ipoh, no friends, no entertainments, no ambition.

April, 2004 - I'd persuaded my parent to give me one more chance to KL to find a better job with a duration of 1 month. I was still remember the 4th day to KL from Ipoh, I was so lucky that I can find a job (cheated company) in PJ. It is not ethical to mention the Company's name. I've been work there for a month without salary.

Yes! Jobless again. This time I cheated my parent that I worked at there happily because I really don't want to stay in Ipoh for rest of my life. One day, one of my ex-colleague who was worked in cheated company (he just worked for 2 weeks only) recommend me to work in an insurance company.

My insurance industry life started in here, ING Insurance Berhad. That would be my first permanent job but worked as admin clerk only. A degree holder work as clerk, what a shame. But that time its really hard to find a job and I have to tell my parent as well that I have changed to a better company. Ops.. really out of topic for what I suppose to post. Here it is the annual dinner I was attended.

My first attended annual dinner at year 2004 and the only photo I found in my album. I has been chosen on the stage to participate for a magic show. I think the magician chose me is because of my blonde hair. He thought I'm mat salleh.

Annual Dinner 2006 - Girls in ING - General Insurance Dept. I was left ING at that time but I just pay a visit with my ex-colleagues.

My ex-boss in GID. He is a nice boss.

My fellow ex-colleagues in ING.

I have joined my new company, Lonpac Insurance Bhd since January, 2005 till now. That would be my first time taking part for the annual dinner staff performance. It is quite interesting for the first year. I get to know a group of best friend here.. And getting tiring & suffering for the coming year.

This photo taken for the publishing magazine of annual dinner 2005. The theme of the annual dinner is "Groovy 60's". That's why we pretending ourselves in 1960's.

Is like we are having a conference meeting during 60's.

That's how we meet each other and getting closer with our relationship.. hahah

The actual day (Annual Dinner 2005). It is a show time for our group performance called "Suzie Wong"

Group photo with my colleagues in the register counter. Its almost the time for open ceremony on our Annual Dinner 2005.

Still got time taking photos with super models, hehe

Have you ever saw Austin Power being tortured by sailors?

Suzie Wong's group - The best staff performance award in 2005. Rated by Charles Chong.

Time has goes fast. Another year for annual dinner again. The theme for Annual Dinner 2006 is "Land of the King". This time I was taken part also as a macho man. It is quite tiring to practice dancing everyday 2-3 months in advance before the annual dinner get started. I was taken lesser photo for this year.

Although we are no longer in the same group of staff performance but our friendship will never ending.

4 macho guys with pretty girls from different department.

This is our Full Dress costume for our staff performance - Lady L'Amour. We are the 'kelefe' only, the main actress is not here. So apologize to our main actress, Junita that I couldn't found any photos in my album.

Group photos with several group of performers and the usherettes

In year 2007, this is different from the previous year because there is no theme for the annual dinner but it is 45th Anniversary for Lonpac Insurance Bhd. I was taken even less photos for this year because I'm no longer taking part of staff performance due to my heavy job tasks and always out of office for marketing.

As you see, our group never miss the chance of taking photo during annual dinner.

Purposely taking with Daniel (1st right) from the miss out for the first photo.

Our coming annual dinner for year 2008 is held on the month of July. Please be wait for my lastest update on this in July.

What have I done in the past.

I'm getting excited to see all my friends and colleagues who are creating a blog. So, I've decided to start my own blog. I really don't know what should I post in here. Maybe can put some of my photos collection to share with you all.

This photo taken in 1957 (is a Bistro), Hartamas during New Year Eve 2004.

No photo was taken during New Year Eve for year 2005. Forgot where am I going? Maybe staying at home doing nothing.

This photo taken at Bintang Walk during New Year Eve 2006.

This photo also taken during the new year eve 2006. After that, I never met the girls already. :P

In year 2006, it is my last time go for celebrating new year eve. As my age get older, I felt that myself don't like outing so much. I rather stay at home, switch on my pc, listen some music or watch HK drama series.
