Korea Trip Memories

After went through my photo albums, I found that there is an album, makes me recall some sweet memories. That's my Korea Trip photo album which was held in 8th - 13th November, 2006. That would consider my 1st oversea trip (must be exactly over the sea). Why I say so.. it is because I have been went to Hatyai & Singapore before which is just a border of Malaysia, so I don't assume that is really my oversea trip.

After departed from KLIA (midnight of 8th Nov) to Korea Incheon Airport (around 6.00am 9th Nov), we wait for our tour bus and began our Korea 6D 4N Trip.

Day 1 : 9th Nov, 2006

The First place we visited was a DaeJangGuem shooting place.

It was a Autumn Season whereby the leaves is full of Red, Yellow and Orange colors.

Taking photo with the main actress of DaeJangGuem, but is just a graphic board.

Its time for lunch time, that was a steamboat with the sausages, carbages, mushrooms and last but not least for the korean famous kimuchi.

After the lunch, we continued our trip to Nami Island. We have to buy the tickets for riding a boat to across the island.

This Nami Island is a shooting place for Winter Sonata when the main actor kiss the main actress.

For those who have watched "Winter Sonata" might saw the behind scene before.

The following programme was went to their market street. The street is just for the pedestrian only.

We still walking along the street. This place is Chuncheon Junggang Mall. There were alot of variety shoplots just like our Bintang Walk in M'sia.

It's quite tired walking for the whole day. Mm... night time already. Its time for dinner.

Actually the Korean food is quite tasty. This time, we eat barbeque with the chickens and carbages.

Day 2 : 10th Nov, 2006

Our breakfast for the 2nd day is an American Style breakfast.

All my colleagues eating so happily. Oh ya.. forgot to tell you all this is my company trip. Of course have to pay one but company was subsidize abit.

I've taken this photo with my lovely colleagues at just in front of the hotel. Later, we will go to the mountain behind the photo.

This is our korean tour leader, (sorry I forgot the name), she is introducing the history of Mt. Sorak.

We are taking the cable car to Mount Sorak.

Did u see the rocks were arranged nicely behind? Heard from the old one, they said, if you bring the rock from the bottom of the mountain and put it here, it will bring you lucks.

Its almost peak of the mountain.

Next programme, we went to a temple just near to Mt. Sorak. Heard from the Korean said, all the temple is up to the hill just like Shaolin.

Nami amitabha

Lunch Time. Steamboat again!

Another drama shooting place, I can't remember the drama name. Sound like "Autumn..."

Walk around at Fish Market. You can try a shashimi at here.

It's time for dinner. Steamboat again!

Day 3 : 11th Nov, 2006

Breakfast for today is noodle soup.

Here's the model of the hotel that we stay in 3rd day. It is a Skiing Resort Hotel.

This is a Korea famous ThemePark - "Everland". We spend about 4 hours at here.

This is our lunch pack in Everland. Is a fast food in one of the stall inside. Burger + wedges + coke.

There have a safari inside a theme park as well.

Bye bye, Everland.

After Everland, we continued our journey to Seoul City, its takes about 2 hours from Everland. And now we are arrived at Myung Dong, another city nearby Seoul.

Visiting their shopping life in city.

Tonight's dinner is a Ginseng Chicken & sake (korean wine). This is the most expensive dinner for the trip. Can you see that? I finished the soup of Ginseng until empty bowl.

After the dinner, our group is divided into 2 groups, one go for the culture show "LuanDa"(have to pay about RM150 for the show) and others go for night market. I have chose the night market one because it is free and somemore can buy souvenir for friends here.

Day 4 : 12th Nov, 2006

Our breakfast for 4th day is a buffer style. I just take that much only. No 2nd round. Do you believe it?

We went to the tourist hall on how to make a kimchi. Here is my handmade kimchi. It can be last long for few years.

After finish making the kimchi, we went to next door and dress their korean old age attire. I'm wearing a civil officer clothing.

After this we proceed to visit their famous Ginseng Gallery. It is control by their Korean government and you can actually buy a original ginseng products here.

Then we proceed to Gem's manufacturing visit. Korea is famous of producing Amethyst. I did not takes any photo inside but I have take photo with this two tour assistants outside the gem factory.

This is the lunch which I think is the most delicious for the whole trip. It is a barbeque sytle with a mix rice. I'm very miss this kind of dishes. Wonder when I go Korea again.

Group photo for the trip at Korean National Museum. This museum located in the centre of Seoul City.

The bauquet in the palace of Korea.

After visiting all the Korea culture museum & palace. Its time for shopping again, I have not bought any stuff for myself so far. I was managed to buy a cloth & pants at here.

After shopping, we went for our dinner. Its a barbeque with the meat of chicken.

Day 5 : 13th Nov, 2006

The breakfast for the 5th day is also a buffer which is same as per 4th day. I'm not sure.. but I think is same.

After the breakfast.. is free and easy time, the tour bus fetch us to the town city to have a walk. This photo was taken in the main entrance of one of the Korean University. The cloth and the pant was bought on last night the the Doota shopping complex.

We were heading to the airport now. We took a seagull ferry to across the island. There are alot of seagulls flying waiting for us to feed them.

Although is steamboat again, but I really miss the korean food very much. This is my last lunch for the trip.

While in the airport, I still got a chance to take a photo with this pretty korean tour assistant. Her name is Park Hae-Jing. I still remember the name.. haha

Its time to fly back to Malaysia. I'll miss Korea.
