Amy Yu's Wedding Dinner

30th August, 2008 – The day before Malaysia Independence Day, I went my ex-colleague, Amy Yu wedding’s dinner at Tai Thong Restaurant, Damansara Intan branch.

We know each other since year 2005 and I also knew his husband, Jim Chook who was been ex-colleague at Financial Department in ING Insurance Bhd as well.
I write this blog to congratulate of this couple and wish them happy forever!

My New DELL Inspiron 1420

After waiting for so long of deciding whether want to buy a new notebook or not and now finally I have bought it. This is the combination of few reasons to make me decision to buy a notebook.

Firstly, my existing PC is not that stable, and usually auto shut down. Secondly, I promise myself to buy a notebook if my 2nd paper of DMII is passed. Although, the result haven't come out yet, but I have confidence enough to make a statement that I pass this paper. Thirdly, PC Fair is coming in just the right time when I'm thinking of buying a notebook.

I have bought a DELL Inspiron 1420.

My specifications is:-
Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T5850 @ 2.16GHz
3.00 GB Ram
Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
14.1 inches LCD

The notebook does not come with the Windows but I have installed Windows Vista Business.

9 Ton Lorry overturn

Yesterday, I was back to Ipoh. While I just back from visiting my Grandma at Menglembu to my home, I saw an incident seldom happen in here.

It is very normal we saw an accident everywhere especially those private cars. Have you all often seen such a big lorry can overturn themselves without hitting any other objects? I think the driver must be drunk or he want to drift like Initial D.

Seem like having a road block of turning left.


This road is just about 50 meter from my house.


Here it is. 2 tower cranes to lift up the 9 tons lorry.

Joining ING Family Day 2008

Yesterday, 2nd August - I'd attended my ex-company Family Day at Taman Shamelin, invited by Evelyn (one of my close ex-colleague). It was quite enjoyable that I can met back those ex-colleagues that I've been long enough not seeing them since I left ING. And it is quite fun of playing games with them.

Entry Tag - Is an entry permit and lucky draw no. is printed in the tag.


There have fews big tolls welcoming guests.


You can find out many things to play along the way.

Is crowded at the registration and collecting door gift.


Durians somemore. Haks... so smelly.

Its take a very long queue to play game and collection stamping in the card to redeem gifts.

This function is started at 3.00pm until 10.00pm. We have a buffet dinner and lucky draw session at the end of the day.

DMII 2nd paper is over

30th July, 2008 - It was a horrible weekend that I spend most of my time going to library just because for the coming CGI Exam of today's paper. Frankly speaking, I do not have much confident to take this paper. My brain was stuck.

Finally, We went through this tough time. Luckily the exam question I manage to answer most of it. I think I will pass. Taking leave for study is not a waste.

Haih.. I thought I can rest for a week or two when finish this exam, BUT start from next week, 4th August, we have to start another subject which is Modern Business Practice. So fast huh..

2008 Treasure Hunt 19-20th July

Once in a year, my company will organise a treasure hunt activity for the staffs with some agents. This is the 5th year that Sport Club of Lonpac Insurance Bhd has organizing the Treasure Hunt.

As usual, I have never miss to participate such a fun game since when I joined Lonpac. Let's refresh some highlight photos for this good memories.

Walk Hunt 2005 - KL City (Berjaya Times Square to KLCC and KL Sentral)
Achievement: 6th Place (if I not mistaken)

Treasure Hunt 2006 - Melaka City
Achievement: 8th Place (if I not mistaken)


New team has been formed when Lin Mun is left and Andrew was not joining.

Motor Hunt 2007 - Damai Laut, Lumut
Achievement: No rank (what a shame)

In year 2008, another treasure hunt was held on 19th - 20th, July to Cherating. This time, we have recruited a new member, Tan Chee Meng who is well known as a food hunter. Haha... No one are look good on our team with the involve of TCM. Okay.. nevermind, we will prove to them we can do it for this year.

Again, my racing car with the best driver and team members flag off and start our treasure hunt.
