The Executive's Seminar - Corporate Grooming

14th November, Friday - A seminar organised by my company for all the executives staff which held in Mines Resort for 2 day 1 night. The title of the seminar is "Corporate Grooming & Business Etiquette". In summary, they teach us how to wear a proper attire in different occasion.


7.30am - we were gather in our office and transported by a hire coach. So all of us are well dressing because of the topic of this seminar. There are total about 30+ of us and the seminar is begin by a starting speech from our COO, Mr. Looi Kong Meng.

This seminar is a whole day seminar from 9am - 5pm. Our facilitator for this seminar is Evelyn Ch'ng. She is a certified image trainer and also an author of 'The Power of Charm". Her background was so attractive that she has been style up numerous international and local celebreties.

After the seminar, we back to our room get rest and shower. The buffet style dinner is served at 7pm and the night time is free and easy. We went to Greenbox sing karaoke until 2am at Jusco, Cheras Selatan.

15th November. After a late night sleep on yesterday, it is so tiring for today telematch. After taken our breakfast, we started our telematch at 10.30am.

Lonpac Family Day 2008

In this year, we held our company family day event at Legend Water Chalet, Port Dickson. The exact date is 8th - 9th November. This time I'm be a part to the Family Day helper and also a contestant for Karaoke session. Wow.. Kind of new experience for me.

We have break our records of organizing a huge group of 500++ participants including families and kids. Most of them will traveling there own transport while if I not mistaken, there have 2 coaches for the individual staff who are participating.

So, we have decided to drive there by using WMP 4264 which is in good condition after repair. Our member in the car is me, the driver, Ken, Lee Chuen and Sharon. We gather at Lonpac office and then fetch Ken at his house.

About 11am, we reach Seremban and having a dim sum breakfast at Ming Court Restaurant.

Not bad.. quite delicious.

We arrived at Legend Water Resort about 1.30pm after a several wrong turn of the road. Then we registered ourselves and get the hotel key and afterward, get some rest. 3.00pm there have a telematch which I'll be the helper for the game.

All the staffs and family member are register at the counter at main entrance.

Oo... I like the bath tub very much.

After the telematch was end, we go back to our room take some rest and clean ourself and get ready for tonight dinner. The theme for the dinner is 'Hawaian Night'. There will alot of people wearing to match the theme. Haha.. I'm the one been chosen.

There have alot of funs for this year Family Day. I have won alot of prizes like Lucky Draw, Best Dress prize and karaoke participant prize. After the dinner end, we actually continue our karaoke session until midnight 12am. Oh ya.. It's time to sing Happy Birthday song for Ken.

The next day, we walked around to see some activity for the children in the morning and we left earlier and did not taking lunch at the chalet. We stopped at Seremban and having our lunch (Beef Noodle) there. We arrived KL around 3pm.

Lonpac's Annual Dinner 2008

14th October – Lonpac Annual Dinner 2008 is a big event from my company which held once a year with the attendance of our chairman, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Teh Hong Piaw. This year is our 46th Anniversary and the theme for this year is 7 Fantasy Sea. Again, this year the annual dinner was held in Shangri-La Hotel.

I was retired of taking part of staff performance since last year. This is because Lonpac nowaday have many new talented staffs out there. Haha.. I feel like I’m getting older.

Due to my car is still under repaired, I have follow Ken's car to the hotel. We need to go there a bit early to make sure our agents were came on time.
